Former Katy officer charged for misusing Flock system

Former Katy Police Department officer Sergio Rodriguez was charged with stalking and misuse of official information after an investigation found he used the Flock license-plate reader system to run his ex-wife’s vehicle license plate between November 2, 2024, and April 2, 2025. He was suspended, later terminated, and criminally charged. The Flock system includes a permanent audit trail.
