Flock Camera Error Sends Police to Wrong Home

A Flock license plate reader search led Lexington, Kentucky police to the wrong home on September 26, 2026. The search flagged a dark Ram 2500 as a possible match for a road-rage assault vehicle based on make/model/color, even though the plate did not match. More than a dozen officers and cruisers responded, guns were drawn briefly, and police later apologized after determining the vehicle was not involved.
